Come Little Children
I'll Take Thee Away, Into A Land
Of Enchantment

Come Little Children
The Time's Come To Play
Here In My Garden
Of Magic
Follow Sweet Children
I'll Show Thee The Way
Through All The Pain And
The Sorrows
 Weep Not Poor Children

For Life Is This Way
Murdering Beauty And
Passions

Hush Now Dear Children

It Must Be This Way
Too Weary Of Life And
Deceptions

 Rest Now My Children

For Soon We'll Away
into The Calm And
The Quiet

Come Little Children
I'll Take Thee Away, Into A Land
Of Enchantment

Come Little Children
The Time's Come To Play
Here In My Garden
Of Shadows

Happy Halloween friends! Tis my favorite time of year and holiday. This shoot was a grand time up in Payson and came to be due to mine and Willow's obsessive love for American Horror Story, specifically Coven. I'm hoping to have an AHS inspired shoot every year for Halloween... maybe next year will be Asylum themed or even Freak Show. Does anyone else watch American Horror Story? What do you think of the new season so far?

Romper | Jacket old (Similar here) | Bracelets

Something to know:

Threads by The Shine Project:
Threads is a cause driven business that changes the future of at risk youth. They came from various backgrounds, but all have one thing in common, they want to break the cycle. By employing them, we instill values of self reliance and hard work. They are paid fair wages for the bracelets they make, and in turn are able to pay their way through school. Many of Threads employees are first generation college students. They dream of becoming nurses, broadcasters, writers and engineers.
Your purchase will directly impact a student. Even beyond financial support, your belief in them is a symbol of hope and trust that they can achieve what for so long seemed impossible. By purchasing Threads you are wearing more than just a bracelet, you are wearing change.

Dress Free People old (Similar vibe here) | Glasses Prada old (Similar here) | Shirt

This collaboration was way too much fun and a great experience. With a team consisting of Dylan Brabec (lighting and tech specialist), Ryan Neal Cordwell (lighting and concept co-director), Titus Fauntleroy (talent director), Elijah Tubbs (supportive boyfriend and hairbrusher), and E. Ryan Strongin (photographer), we whipped out some amazing photos! I absolutely love how clean they turned out and the stark contrast between the two looks.

Bien

Friday, October 24, 2014 / , , ,

Sadly, this is the last of my San Diego pictures, but that means a change of scenery which is always nice. Speaking of "bien" I am currently enrolled in my second French class and feel like a complete buffoon whenever I try and speak the language. I took Spanish in high school and had no problem at all with the accent, but for some reason French is kicking my butt. Not to mention, trying to talk to someone who is fluent in French is a pain in the butt... I cannot understand a word that is coming out of their mouth. Help me! Have you had a similar experience? What was your second language in school?

Watch | Flannel | Bikini Bottoms old (similar here) | Bikini Top old (similar here)

One of the greatest things about beaches, is the bipolar weather. The sun peeks out and kisses your skin, but then the breeze follows behind it and chills you. Best be prepared with a warm cover up to throw on when the chill sets in. The best kind is a men's flannel, it's baggy, warm, and super cute.

Pier

Monday, October 20, 2014 / , , ,

San Diego was far too much fun, so that is all you will see this week! Hooray for vacations. Walking up and down the pier is one of my favorite things to do when I am in a sleepy, beach town. It also didn't hurt that there was a yummy fish shack at the end of it where I ate not once but twice in the three days I was there. Fried scallops are delicious and a shrimp cocktail at 10 AM? Don't mind if I do.

San Diego Photo Diary

It was so nice getting away from the dry Arizona heat and stepping onto a cool, breezy beach in nothing but my little, black bikini and Sand Cloud. Every year part of my family makes their way to Imperial Beach, San Diego and not having gone in a couple years, I decided this year I would. Elijah accompanied me for the short car ride, which I must admit he drove the entire way, and we helped out with the kids while we were there. One of my poor baby cousins broke her leg the day she got there and is stuck in a cast for four to five weeks, so we helped my aunt and uncle keep their older daughter company. This included walks on the pier and old car shows! Overall a fun trip.
